COVID-19 Updates for Participants & Families
The situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve. Fighting Chance, Avenue, Jigsaw and our houses have a number of strategies in place to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and participants.
We appreciate your efforts to work with us in a proactive way to protect our communities from the spread of COVID-19 and ask that you keep yourselves up-to-date with government recommendations.
While this webpage provides a top-line overview of information relating to COVID-19, please refer to your enterprises and locations managers for more specific information.
Fighting Chance - Current Status
There are currently no known cases of COVID-19 at Fighting Chance or any of our enterprise locations.
Current case locations
We have been closely monitoring the situation with incidents of community transmission in various locations. Please ensure you check the COVID-19 case locations published by NSW Health before attending our services each day. If you or your person has been to any location at the times listed please don’t attend. This list is updated on a regular basis so it is your responsibility to check this regularly. In addition, we have updated our daily wellbeing checks to include this.
Face masks
We continue to require all service delivery staff (with the exception of Accommodation Services where case by case arrangements are being made) to wear masks wherever appropriate. We understand it may not be possible in all cases for a variety of reasons. Please speak to your local manager for more information.

COVID-19 Fighting Chance 24 Hour Hotline
We have set up an emergency phone line to report any confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 within our Fighting Chance communities. It is vital that we receive immediate notification of any confirmed cases, any time of the day or night, so we can enact our emergency response plan immediately. If you receive a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, please call 02 9190 2799 immediately – at any time of the day or night.
If your query is of a more general nature about COVID-19, a National Coronavirus Hotline (1800 020 080) has been established to answer any questions. around COVID-19.
Information On Feeling Unwell, Travelling Overseas, Suspected and Confirmed cases
If You Are Feeling Unwell
We would encourage all participants and families to avoid attending work if they are sick and/or showing any sign of fever, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath and other symptoms commonly associated with the flu.
If You Have Had Close Contact With A Confirmed Case
